Russell Sturgis "Sunnywaters" Addition

32 Masconomo Street
Manchester, Mass.

Year Built: 1870

Charles Brigham designed a four-room addition for Sturgis’ brother Russell. Brigham wrote:

“Your brother is having me make some sketches of an addition to a house at Manchester by which he wishes to get four more rooms for Mrs. Welles. He would probably have awaited your return but we feared it might be too late in the season to get plastered before the cold weather.”

It is unclear where on the main structure this addition was placed and therefore whether it is extant or the state of its architectural integrity.
