Ellis House

Watertown, Mass.

Year Built: 1867

Charles Brigham likely made preliminary plans for a house in Watertown for a “young man” named Ellis to cost about $8,000 or $9,000. A review of the property tax records reveals that although Ellis owned land in Watertown in 1867, no house was built on it while he was the owner.
