Martin Brimmer House

48 Beacon Street
Boston, Mass.

Year Built: 1869
Year Demolished: 1913

Sturgis & Brigham likely submitted a design for the construction of a new house and stable. Charles Brigham had the plot surveyed and the results of the survey informed the proposed work. However, ultimately, Brimmer chose Richard Morris Hunt to design the house that became 48 Beacon Street. The building was demolished in 1913.
