Boylston-Hyslop-Lee House

617 Boylston Street
Brookline, Mass.

Year Built: ca. 1876

Stairway altered and library and bedrooms added sometime between 1870-1880. The renovations may have relied on the first measured drawings of an extant building in the United States: the historic John Hancock house in Boston that was demolished just before.
